This site is owned and operated by Tigo Energy, Inc. ("Tigo"). Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. At Tigo, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe. Through our website and commercial application, Tigo SMART, we gather certain types of information about our users, you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.
Information that Tigo Gathers and Tracks
Tigo collects and uses information that you provide to carry out its daily business activities, to process your orders, service your account, communicate with you, and to provide you with excellent customer service.
Tigo gathers two types of information about users: (1) Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive our electronic newsletters, to log into our system, or to use services we provide for customers or partners; (2) Information Tigo gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers' needs. Under no circumstances does Tigo divulge any information about an individual user to a third party.
Optional Voluntary Information
We collect personal information that you provide us through the course of using the Tigo management software, Tigo SMART, and this website (or other Tigo websites), such as when you register or use the Tigo software or when you sign-up for an e-mail newsletter, when using our administrative section, customer support resources or when contacting us for any reason
Our Services are not directed to people under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at email@example.com. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account.
Tigo tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Tigo does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser). We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
Use of Information
Tigo uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our software and network of sites, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements or to better prepare future workflows, features or content based on the interests and anonymized activity of our users. As stated above, we use information that users voluntarily provide in part to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls, surveys, message boards, and forums. Tigo never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third-parties, including advertisers, sponsors or partners. When tracking information is used to determine usability issues, we do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. We track search terms entered in our applications or sites as one of many measures to determine usability issues. But we don't track which term(s) a particular user enters. Tigo creates aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers, sponsors and partners. This allows our advertisers to advertise more effectively and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent to their needs. Because we don't track the usage patterns of individual users, an advertiser or sponsor will never know that a specific user clicked their ad. We will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply with applicable law or valid legal processes or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
Tigo uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and help our advertisers and business partners better understand our audience's demographics. We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal processes or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
